STEEL NATION SPONSORS LOCAL HEROES WALK/RUN

Millsboro PA-(September 23, 2013):Steel Nation sponsored the Greene River Trail Heroes 5K and 15K race on Saturday September 21, 2013 in Greene County, PA. This was the seventh year holding the event at the Greene River Trail in memory of two local young men that lost their lives serving their country overseas. The proceeds benefit memorial funds in the names of Army Spc. Gregory Cox and Marine Lance Cpl. Steven Phillips.

The scholarship funds assist Greene County high school graduates entering the Army Reserve Officers’ training or the fields of public safety/public services and helps fund the cost of transportation for Greene County veterans receiving treatment at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Clinic.
